The Goal: Size Six Jeans in 3 months

size 6Now that I have your attention…I have decided to set a concrete goal for September 15th. I want to wear my size 6 jeans on that day. This is a tough challenge but well worth it and I think that I can do it. I’m going to eat right and exercise.

My friend Abby, of Pea in the Pod Fitness, suggested that I set concrete goals and an action plan. In order for this to work I will have to exercise every day until the 15th of September. I can do it. Plus I’ll feel so much better. My main form of exercise will be walking, biking and stretching in the form of Yoga and Pilates. My own hybrid.

Today I went walking to the park and back. It’s about a mile and my ankle is getting better every day.

What are some ways that you create and met your goals?

You go girl! I know you can do this! I believe in you! Good for you for setting such a concrete goal. Now go for it with gritty determination.

I’m really bad at setting goals and keeping them. So why am I commenting on this post, you ask?
    Just to encourage you!

I started running back in November, motivated by a disturbing photo of me that was tagged on Facebook. That is my single motivating factor to continue running and working out. Each and every time I think about giving up or not getting up to workout, I think back to the picture. Honestly, there are times when thinking back to the picture isn’t enough, I actually have to look at it – UGH!
It works like a charm – a chubby, triple chinned charm!

    Good luck!

*oh and I found your blog from the Wu Wei theme website just in case you’re wondering! *

Thank you so much for your comment! I think that sometimes we have to have a concrete example of where we are at in order to move forward with our goals. I’m really glad that you found a way to motivate yourself. Good for you!
