Setting Goals and Sticking to Them

GoalsThis morning I decided that I have to set goals for myself and stick to them. How does one do that?

There are lots of ways to motivate yourself to stick to a goal. For me, exercise, losing weight and eating better, are at the top of my list. Sometimes, I feel discouraged, as everyone does, and then I turn a corner. I look at myself and decide that enough is enough. It is time to change.

Here are some of the ways that I can achieve my goal. Listing the different strategies for achieving something is a good way for anyone to start this process.

1. Eat Healthily

Eat more vegetables and less carbohydrates and sugar.

2. Exercise every day

Go walking, or biking on my stationary bike. Move every day.

3. Go to the Gym

Make a schedule to go the gym and stick to it.

4. Make an Inspiration Collage

Make a collage of all of the goals that you are moving towards and put it somewhere where I can see it every day.

5. Wake up Positive

Wake up and try to think positively about the day ahead and do the best I can to stay positive throughout the day.
