A Long Walk & Ankle is Better!

jacketSometimes you have to push yourself really hard to get better. My ankle needs to be walked on in order for it to get stronger. Today I must have walked about 3 miles. I feel great about it. I’m really proud of myself. I have tried to work out on my stationary bike, but I get so bored that, honestly, the only way I’m going to get back in shape is if I walk. It does hurt, but I am glad that I can walk again.

Getting motivated to move again is partly due to me deciding that if one thing doesn’t work, then you can move on to something you enjoy. I think that is the key to a successful exercise regime.

Sometimes you have to push yourself really hard to get better.

I’m very proud of myself. I still feel fat, but I’m on my way to getting back in shape. I feel better which is really important.
